# HPRC - Human Performance Resources by CHAMP > HPRC (hprc-online.org) is the U.S. military's trusted source for evidence-based Total Force Fitness information, covering physical, mental, nutritional, and social fitness. It is produced by the Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) to help Service Members and their families optimize health, wellness, and performance. HPRC was established by the Department of Defense in 2010 to translate and disseminate timely, accurate, scientifically based human performance optimization (HPO) information to commanders, Warfighters, medical personnel, and researchers, and to boost communication and collaboration across communities interested in HPO. A team of scientists and subject-matter experts reviews the research literature and translates it into plain-language articles, videos, worksheets, and other resources, each with references. Content is organized around the Total Force Fitness framework, a holistic model in which physical, mental, nutritional, social, and spiritual domains work together to optimize mission readiness.
