The mission of the Army Resilience Directorate is to provide policy, resources, and capabilities for individuals and leaders in order to increase resilience and readiness.

The Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) trains military and civilian behavioral health professionals to provide high-quality, culturally-sensitive, evidence-based behavioral health services to military personnel, Veterans and their families.

The Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS) is dedicated to advancing trauma-informed knowledge, leadership, and methodologies. The Center’s work addresses a wide scope of trauma exposure from the consequences of combat, operations other than war, terrorism, natural and human-made disasters, and public health threats.

The CAHS exists to serve the ever-increasing education and training requirements that are prerequisite to professional practice within the Military Health System (MHS) of the Department of Defense (DoD). An added benefit of meeting these requirements is that these competencies and credentials translate directly to the civilian sector.

The mission of the DoD Combat Feeding Directorate (CFD) is to ensure that America’s Warfighters are the world’s most capable fighting force by providing an operationally relevant research and development base to deliver solutions for evolving field feeding challenges. The CFD executes a Joint-Service program, which takes maximum advantage of the scientific and technological capacity of industry, academia, and other Federal Government Agencies and serves as the interface between these entities and the Joint Warfighter to ensure relevant and timely capability delivery.

The Defense and Veterans Center for Integrative Pain Management aims to leverage the best available evidence, clinical expertise, and collaboration to develop and communicate consensus recommendations in support of Air Force, Army, Navy, and VHA pain management practice, education, and research

The Defense Commissary Agency, which is headquartered at Fort Lee, VA., operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. Authorized patrons purchase items that are variably priced plus a 5-percent surcharge, which covers the costs of building new commissaries and modernizing existing ones. Shoppers save thousands of dollars annually on their purchases compared to commercial prices when shopping regularly at a commissary. A core military family support element, and a valued part of military pay and benefits, commissaries contribute to family readiness, enhance the quality of life for America's military and their families, and help recruit and retain the best and brightest men and women to serve their country

The Hearing Center of Excellence fosters and promotes the prevention, diagnosis, mitigation, treatment, rehabilitation, and research of hearing loss and auditory injury. It supports the development, exchange, and adoption of best practices, research, measures of effectiveness, and clinical care guidelines to reduce the prevalence and cost of hearing loss and tinnitus among warriors and Veterans.

The Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System is the Army’s primary investment in Soldier readiness and lethality, optimal physical and non-physical performance, reduced injury rates, improved rehabilitation after injury, and increased overall effectiveness. The system empowers and equips Soldiers to take charge of their health, fitness, and well-being in order to optimize individual performance, while preventing injury and disease.

The JCCoE serves as the focal point for all Army Food Program issues, including lead organization for the Department of the Army (DA) G4 food program in doctrine development, policy and procedures, garrison, field, and subsistence supply operations. Advise, train, educate, and empower Department of Defense (DOD) culinary professionals in all facets of the DOD or Services Food Program through dynamic and learner centric training.

Our Tri-Service Campus is located on Fort Sam Houston, Texas in the City of San Antonio. With 49 medical programs, and 16,500 graduates a year, METC is a state-of-the-art DoD healthcare education campus that trains enlisted medical personnel. Warrior Care begins here at the METC.

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and ready medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high quality health services to Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.

The Department of Defense’s Military OneSource is a 24/7 gateway for trusted information, resources, and confidential help. When MilLife happens, Military OneSource is a “first line of support” to give Service Members and military families tools to stay well and thrive.

NCCIH is the federal government’s lead agency for scientific research on diverse medical and healthcare systems, practices, and products that aren’t generally considered part of conventional medicine.

NDU educates joint Warfighters in critical thinking and the creative application of military power to inform national strategy and globally integrated operations, under conditions of disruptive change, in order to conduct war.

NMCPHC is the Navy and Marine Corps' center for public health services. NMCPHC provides leadership and expertise to ensure mission readiness through disease prevention and health promotion in support of the National Military Strategy.

OTSG Navy oversees the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) and it manages the healthcare for Navy and Marines. Navy Medicine aligned its shore facilities into four overarching commands: Navy Medicine East, Navy Medicine West, Navy Medicine National Capital Area, and Navy Medicine. Education and Training Command also is under BUMED.

Sleep, activity and nutrition (SAN) are critical for achieving optimal physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing. They are integral in maximizing Soldier performance and are the cornerstones of the U.S. Army Office of the Surgeon General’s (OTSG) Performance Triad (P3) Campaign. P3 integrates the best available SAN sports science to improve squad overmatch and Soldier performance in tactical environments. It includes messaging, curriculum and training, policy development, technology, leader development, and changes within the built installation environment to make the healthy choice the easy choice. P3 strives to improve and sustain healthy SAN knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and associated outcomes among Soldiers and Army beneficiaries.
