Heat Illness Mitigation

Military units or individuals often rapidly move from their home station to a training center or an operational environment. Due to a lack of acclimatization, moving from a cool climate to a hot or humid one increases the risk of exertional heat illness, such as heat exhaustion and exertional heat stroke.
