Introduction
How to use the RC Toolbox
The Resilience Coordinator (RC) Toolbox is designed for certified USCG RCs who’ve completed the Resilience Coordinator and Unit Education (ResCUE) Course and successfully obtained their RC duty status. RC’s are a collateral duty within the USCG with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to enhance health, wellness, and performance for themselves and within their units.
The RC Toolbox provides easy access to the resources RC were trained to use during ResCUE. Included on these pages are all the materials presented in the RC Student Handbook, in an easy to print and distribute format. Utilizing these materials will improve the stress management of Coast Guard men and women in high-tempo operational environments. Through peer-led interventions with these resources, RCs can enhance unit cohesion and morale while reducing risk factors associated with burnout, psychological distress, and performance decline.
The RC program is an asset of the Integrative Primary Prevention Office. For more information about the RC role, the ResCUE course, or IPP, email RC@uscg.mil.
