This slide deck contains an overview of the new Air Force and Space Force body composition program (BCP), which takes effect 1 April 2023. The BCP requires Airmen and Guardians to complete an annual body composition assessment using a new waist-to-height ratio measurement. This method replaces the abdominal circumference measurement that was part of the physical fitness assessment prior to December 2020.
