Army Regulation 600-85 (2016) details the Army’s program to address the abuse of alcohol and drugs, including procedures for testing (screening and confirmation). Special sections also outline drug testing procedures for the Civilian Corps, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve. Emphasis is placed on prevention, education, and training to prevent misuse, as well as rehabilitation. Much of AR 600-85 also addresses administrative and legal details.
